An initiative for the local communities of Maui
"Maui on my mind" on the chest, an array of logos on the back. Launched by the local creative studio Passion Fruit, this screen-printed T-shirt aims to finance some of the immediate needs of the inhabitants of Maui Island as the human toll from the wildfires of August 8th continues to rise daily.
Available for pre-order online, this creation has received support from 17 brands. Among them, Jacquemus: a strong message, especially as the designer had chosen Hawai'i as the destination for his very first fashion show outside of France last year. Showcasing the "Le Splash" Spring-Summer 2022 collection, the event took place on the island of Oahu and gave birth to a dedicated mixtape.
